I never knew at the time when I was a babe in Christ why I learned and meditated on so much scripture until now.

I am so confused. There are so many difficult decisions I need to make, honestly I don't want to make them right now.
I really need to seek God as my refuge in all this, I know. I have no strength on my own. M y health stinks. My marriage has turned into an ugly divorce battle, I don't have a church home and have very little fellowship with believers right now. (We are also without a car) My daughter is a year away from being an adult and wants to be treated like an adult but not have the responsibility... ugh I don't miss my teen years. And all the while the Lord is allowing me to continue to teach my younger ones at home. Praise God.

Some of these trials are because God wants me to seek him First and the other reasons is because I don't agree with the counsel I have been getting and I believe it is because of doctrinal differences. If I was an active member of a church, I know what I would do but right now I am inbetween.

RIGHT NOW, I am trying to avoid the extremes and find some balance in my life.

Anyways, I know that this is testing my faith. I'm not going to get depressed because God is my almighty Father. Although times are tough, I know we will get through them. I keep hearing "Bloom where you are planted" in my head. But physically, I know that I am only here in this town temporarily...

PLEASE KEEP ME IN PRAYER> Sometimes I smile and think that it would of been easier to submit to my husband and let him make these decisions.

Any suggestions?

Praying for you and your situation :pray

Beyond the obvious, to stay in constant prayer and in the Word, it's difficult to offer much more advice since I don't know enough to say much more.

If you are in need of more fellowship and friendship with your brothers and sisters in Christ then I would suggest you could seek that here. When I was between churches I found a great deal of comfort, fellowship and friendship right here that greatly helped me through that time.

That is true...
I have been on here for many many years and found that great fellowship.
Thanks everyone!

I guess I just forget to put on my whole armour of God sometimes unintentionally.
We can last for alittle while with one weapon but can be easily overtaken.

As Scripture says, the spirit is willing but the flesh is weak. We all experience this. It takes focus and determination to continually abide in the Lord.

Scripture tells us the shield of faith quenches ALL the firey darts of the wicked.

It can be easy to drift and not realize it until we have drifted much farther than we imagined possible. I try to keep myself saturated with the things of the Lord. Enjoying the fellowship and friendship here, reading the Bible every morning, reading a Christian book in the afternoon and/or night (right now I'm reading "Faith that moves mountainst" by Lee Roberson...I just finished reading another of his books, "Touching Heaven", a book on prayer :thumb ), a special prayer time at night, praying throughout the day, saying at least a bit of prayer when I first rise in the morning and when I lay down at night, etc.

There are some good folks here and sometimes this is just what I need.

We are here for you so feel free to seek prayer help, friendship, fellowship, guidance or whatever might be of help and someone here will surely respond.
