Started another round of injections into my left inner ear....

Last May (2021) I started and finished a 3 shot treatment for continuing vertigo and tinnitus attacks in my left ear. It seemed to have worked until I got "the vid" at the end of August last year. But early to mid October, the vertigo had come back full on. I dealt with it through diet for a short while, but it's consistantly gotten worse. Last month when I went back for my yearly checkup with the ENT specialist, I was told that I would need to start another round of injections to see if it would help quell the attacks. They started this morning. If this set of three (weekly on Mondays) doesn't work, the only option left me is a surgery on the bone behind my ear (the hardest bone in the body), to cut the nerve leading to the inner ear. It "might" alleviate the dizzy spells, but it will leave me permanently deaf in that ear. It could also have some other serious side effects. Please pray that if it's the Lords will that this round of shots will help and that I won't need to go through surgery. I wouldn't anyhow. I'd live with the imbalance that I have and would "suffer in silence."  It's disconcerting because the doctor says that I also need this same treatment in my right ear. But, they can only do the surgery in one ear...not both. Please pray the Lord will give me discernment in what to do.

Update on the decadron injections: I had my final injection this morning around 11:30. The doctor and I talked about the injections and about the options should this round not be effective. He's not totally sure they will be, and neither am I. The next option is surgery through the mastoid bone behind the ear (the thickest bone in the body) and the placement of a stent into the inner ear canal. This could possibly leave my face paralyzed, but wouldn't leave me deaf. It could also, like the surgery to sever the nerve, leave me permanently deaf in my left ear. I will find out if the injections worked in 3 weeks. It's a hard decision I'm facing if they haven't worked, and I truly don't want someone drilling on my head. With today's medical "professionals" I find that they are just "practicing" medicine with the intent of making the "bigi bucks." Their words, not mine. If that is their motivation, I would find it hard to trust them  Please pray that these injections work if it's the Lords will. And if the Lord decides that this isn't to work, that he will give me wisdom and peace on whether to have the surgery or not. Thanks in advance.
