That link above is the story of a Christian man (Alex) in Colombia, South America. We heard the end of the story last night at church and saw a picture of the two men together in the following story:

The end of the story is that the very man (a guerilla soldier named Ishmael) who shot and severely injured Alex was finally caught and put in the prison where Alex was ministering. Ishmael didn't know who Alex was at the time and eventually Alex led Ishmael to the Lord. Later, Ishmael found out Alex's story and became very afraid because he (Ishmael) was the one who had harmed Alex and he didn't think Alex could forgive him. Ishmael finally admitted to Alex that he was the one who had injured him so severely all those years ago and that he was sorry for what he had done. Alex told him that he had already forgiven him a long time ago and that his only thought was that he was glad Ishmael had found Jesus! Amen!

That's neat...kinda like Corrie Ten Boom meeting one of the guards who tortured her and her sister in the concentration camp. She didn't know if she could face him, but once face to face, she realized that she could forgive him. Such is the grace of God!
