Washington’S War Against Russia

I have been following this latest dustup between Washinton and the Russian's not only in the American MSM, but also German, British, Russian, Western Ukrainian, Eastern Ukranian, and yes of course Russian sources.  I have found that Paul Craig ROBerts views seems to kind of sum up what I see happening in the situation.  You may see it different.  It really doesn't matter how we personally see it . . . . the world is as it is and you or I can't change it, but that does not mean we should not keep ourselves informed.

Regardless of the patriotic rhetoric used by all governments, war is a matter of power and control.

The economics is a key part of power and control. He who controls the money has more control over others and has more power.

 

Waging war where nothing is gained economically leads to bankruptcy. Look at the great debt America has piled up fighting in the Middle East for over a decade now. American power is weakened due to the staggering debt. Left unchecked, this will only get worse.

 

Consider the hesitancy of the once mighty Great Britain in dealing with terrorism which is to a great deal due to their overburdened economy.

 

The fact many nations are drowning in a sea of debt is cause for alarm as war has long been the means to attempt to overcome crippled economies.
