It sounds so pleasant to the ears but it's such a dangerous teaching when men preach that if folks just come to Jesus all their troubles will be gone and life will be happy and wonderful.

 

I've been saved for 33 years and I continually face struggles, difficult times, trials and tribulations of various sorts. So do the unsaved. The difference being, I have a Helper, I have a Comforter, I have One that never leaves me, never forsakes me, Who walks with me through the valley, Who lifts me out of the pit, Who blesses me in ways seen and unseen. The unsaved are on their own.

 

The road I'm on, no matter how many bumps or potholes, leads to blessed eternal life with my God and Saviour. The road the lost chooses ends in eternal torment.
