I've noticed, & I suppose I'm not very political correct, yet I mean no disrespect.

Mexicans in our area have several churches they have established their self's, & that is were probably 95 % of them that attend church attend. I hold nothing against them for doing so.

There are several local churches that has reached out to them, but with little success. One even establishing a church with a Baptists speaking Mexican pastor. But few there be that attend, & that church has to fully support it.

Several churches has reached out to the blacks in our area, with little success. I would have to guess at why this has not been successful.

1. Style of preaching
2. Style of singing
3. They like to be among their self

Now there is at least 2, maybe another black church that comes together with the local SBC that formed a ministry alliance. But this is only only special occasion, such as Easter.

A few years back the local SBC had one black man attending their church. I spoke with him 2 or 3 times at our city park where back in the early 200's I would go to walk. I asked him have any of them, & or any of your people given you any trouble over this. "He state that no one at this church had given him one problem, they were all very nice to him & included him in church events. But a few of his fellow black people had told him he needed to come to where he belonged."

I asked him, "Do you feel all of your people feel that way?" His answer was no.

Most people are going to attend a church where they're comfortable, they agree with the teachings, & agree with the way services are carried out. That has always been true for me.

I might add, there are reasons not to accept a person or persons as members. I will let that local church make that decision, for likely they will know something that I do not, & besides, I have authority in only one church, its at the one I'm pastor of.
