I recently was browsing a collection of what I believe are assigned readings for certain Baptist colleges and I was able to find a book called, “A Company Of Woman Preachers, Baptist Prophetesses In Seventeenth-Century England.” Why do some members of the Christian faith despite concrete scriptural evidence that the pastoral office is limited to males continue to perpetuate these theories?

I keep seeing people online comparing the colors of the Palestinian flag, and other Islamic flags, to the colors of the four horses of the apocalypse. But the King James calls the last one a "pale" horse instead of "green". Am I missing something? I'm not saying their flags' representations aren't intrinsically evil(I believe they are) But I'm thinking this is a bit of a stretch. No?

Hi all, blessings. I've been in a number of different christian forums posting with others, and two main off beam teachings keep re-occuring and gaining popularity. The first is baptismal regeneration. Seems a whole lot of people get confused between the Holy Spirit empowering a group or individual, baptism by immersion and eternal salvation. And most forums, the individuals who adhere to baptismal regeneration don't get kicked out, but can just continue in there as long as they like. One of the highlights to me of World Impact Missions Conference at Lancaster Baptist Church is seeing missionaries who grew up at Lancaster Baptist and/or graduated from West Coast Baptist College and and are now serving the Lord on mission fields around the world. When I was selling sheep to Muslims, I would always ask what country they were from. They would usually come in groups of 3, occasionally just two. One thing that was interesting is you would have like one guy from Saudi Arabia, another from Kuwait, and another from Bahrain, or the West Bank, All would be speaking Arabic and acted like they were just best buds. One of the guys, from The West Bank, a Palestinian, had been educated in Morocco ( I checked out his Facebook page). G'day folks, I have a request regarding IB mission groups and recommendations. I am a registered nurse working in a local medical clinic. I am struggling and feeling burdened to step out and bring my nursing abroad. I desire to be involved in some sort of mission work where my nursing skill can be of use and spreading the Gospel. In a video ( I watched very little of it) Ray comfort says "nowhere in scripture do you find the apostles saying 'Jesus loves you' to sinners". Proverbs 15:1 says A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger. But I have read where Jesus called the Pharisees/scribes things like "fools", "whited sepulchres", "hypocrites" and a "generation of vipers". Now I seriously doubt that Jesus let it get into an arguing match but, I think this pastor was initially right in telling this policeman what he was. And the cop confirmed it. Forty years ago today, I was ordained into the gospel ministry. As I look back over the past four decades, I say with the apostle Paul, “And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry” (1 Timothy 1:12). Aside from my salvation and my family, there has been no greater joy in life than to serve Christ as a preacher of the gospel. It is extremely popular these days to have in a salvation tract 'commiting your life to Christ ' and/or 'turning from sin'... for receiving eternal salvation. These are fine and noble things of course. But are they things someone can actually do before conversion? Is not 'turning from sin' ..a work? Is not 'commiting your life to Christ ' also a work? Salvation is all about believing on Jesus Christ... it isn't an effort on the part of the believer of behaviour. You gotta know you are a sinner at salvation of course... otherwise how would God convict you.. but repent doesn't mean 'turn from sin ' as a behaviour..but 'change of heart, mind' that…

I complete agree brother, we younger people are taught as you said that we are the descendants of primates, we are then taught that as you’ve mentioned about the new view of the Bible, that our religion is wrong and backward, a very sad thing in todays education. I hear it even from teachers and peers who would profess to be Christians.

It's strange how the Bible was held in such high esteem then, but that after this trial, not so very far from where I live today, the Bible is no longer welcomed into the classroom, and we are now considered to be the proginy of monkeys. It's so very sad. -
Hello brothers and sisters, I was recently given the assignment of writing a paper on the infamous Scopes V. Tennessee trial. I found it quite interesting how the defense attorney, Clarence Darrow, had no genuine argument or examination of the evidence itself. He instead called the prosecuting attorney, Mr. William Jennings Bryan, as a sole witness and ridiculed his faith, interpretation of the Bible, and his view of the creation account.
