The biennial salary study began in 1996 with 12 participating state conventions. The study, coordinated by Don Spencer, director of the Kentucky Baptist Convention annuity department, grew to include 19 conventions in 2000 and 35 this year. Inflation has totaled 15.2 percent in the past six years, Spencer said. Among fulltime pastors, he added, the average compensation has gone up 31.5 percent during the same time. only in six years, try adding 25 years?

Also the founder’s (Members) that stool firmly on the Word, have passed away. The newer leaders are in for the money, not all. Some preachers today earn up to five times more per year than preachers 25 years ago. I don’t have the proof of this, but just check in to it. You will be surprised ?

Changing workers, those that work with the youth/children should be done regularly. Even if they are doing a good job. This also applies to other positions in the church.

The Bible tells us that revenge is of the Lord, we born-again believers. We feel the pain and anger and want some type of legal response. in the Old Testament, I believe this is why the Land of Refuge was made. So revenge won’t be taken directly by any personal offender. Now, if we’re gonna talk about self-defense the baseball bat, gun, knife, or anything to defend yourself, the family, and love ones, it’s OK. this is not revenge or hate. ?

People all around the world today are celebrating the international day of Yoga. This should not be a day that Christians celebrate. In yoga, there are many spirits and many gods. It’s not just a healthy exercise. Have a blessed day. Christians don’t have to celebrate, what the world celebrate. ?

I notice in our church meetings it’s hard to vote for anything. Members don’t show up to the meetings. Some of the leaders don’t even come?

I believe the only easy way is to vote him out, is to have a meeting (members only). But there must be a majority, of members present. What happens when there is not enough members to vote. There must be a good reason, to vote him out. Given him a chance to tell his story. Let’s just say the pastor had an affair with a member that was married. Example, you would think the pastor would leave on his own. But we all can be surprised, when he doesn’t leave on his own. This is not a negative post, just a class full of students. ?
