Crock Pot Saucy Pork Chops*

Mashed potatoes

Something green

Hot bread and butter with homemade blackberry jam or homemade apple butter

*Crock Pot Saucy Pork Chops

8 boneless pork chops (1/2 inch thick)
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
2 cans (10 3/4 oz. each) cream of chicken soup, undiluted
1 medium onion, chopped
1/2 cup ketchup
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

Brown chops in oil, sprinkle with salt and pepper. Transfer to crock pot. In a bowl, combine the soup, onion, ketchup and Worcestershire sauce; pour over chops. Cover and cook on high 4-5 hours or until meat juices run clear. Serve over mashed potatoes, rice or noodles.

My variation of this is 1 can of cream of chicken soup, 1 can of tomato soup and the onion mixed together and poured over the chops. Either way, it is scrumptious!

Methinks it's time for me to surprize my sweet wife tonight. :thumb

She is going to be sooooooooo pleased with this tonight and find that supper is all ready. Lemme see, a nice tossed spring veggie salad to go with this and an apple pie straight from the freezer and we'll be all set. :java: :cool :cooldude: :hungry:

This is the perfect diversion that I need from all of my brain-racking design work today. :cool :thumb :peek:

***Jim-boy runs to fetch the largest crock-pot, because this recipe is surely worthy of left-overs. :ideas: :drool ***

Since I noticed that we have two threads to see what is for dinner, lets try and keep the dinner post overs at the following thread.
viewtopic.php?f=14&t=7867

Hopefully this will stop any confusion on what is for dinner.

I picked the other thread because it has more replies that this one.
