French supermarket chain Intermarché (pr antermarché)  reduced the price of Nutella chocolate hazlenut spread by 70%  causing riots and fights in the stores.  In some cases police had to be called.  Feb 5th is Jour  de crepes in France (pancake day)  and one of the favourite fillings of their crepes on that day is Nutella.
