We have cable internet...and then a wireless thingy and then a signal booster so that the signal will reach over to the church..so that our internet can be at home AND at church without actually signing the church up for its own internet.

Well we came back from vacation and the wireless wasn't working. (Storm knocked it out? Dunno.) We bought a new wireless box and it seems to be working fine. The computer is picking up a signal fine. But somehow the signal gets messed up with the booster (can't explain this right) to where although the signal is reaching, the internet is not there, the computers cannot connect.

Does anyone know what might be the problem, probably with the booster? Actually it is the booster, the wifi works in my house with my laptop...but it does not work over at the church anymore. Can't remember if hubby bought a new booster or not...but it works, just something isn't right with the signal.
