Members Alan
I went to Chip Ingram's website (see the link below), and he is involved in discipleship material for churches and saints. He is a fine devotional speaker. From the verses he quoted on the internet website he is not King James. He is (appraently), Southern Baptist. His statement of faith (called core values on the website) is a typical Southern Baptist doctrinal statement, pre-millenial, etc... not too bad of a statement of faith. Apparently he is not Calvinistic. As the website is very extensive I did not look, read, nor listen to all of it and some of my thoughts are gathered from what I did read or listen too.Chip Ingram, from what I read, and listened too, seems to be desire to reach out to all churches of all faiths in a devotional approach. He steers away from anything that may hinder his ministry by being controversial. For example. Although he talks about his, and his parents church background, I still do not know what denomination he was, or, his parents were. Ingram seems not to not want to offend anybody for any reason. But, as far as having a sincere desire to help the saints mature he is of some value.http://livingontheedge.org/about-us/core-valuesAnybody want to add anything else?
