I was speaking with our youth leader after services this evening. I listened just moments ago. It struck some cords with me...maybe you.

Amen!

While I hadn't thought of that particular word at the time (anguish) it's very fitting. My deepest times and seasons of prayer have involved anguish, even great anguish.

I did feel some conviction listening to that as I considered how there are times I will go to the Lord in deep anguish regarding someone or something and yet there are other times I take the same or similar before the Lord with so much less passion (for lack of a better descriptive at the moment). So many things should burden my soul much more than it sometimes does.

On one of my old computers I had a couple of his sermons saved which I would listen to/watch from time to time which were powerful and convicting. Thank you for sharing this.
