In one of the discussion groups I am a part of, there are several pastors/preachers/seminary students was conducting a poll of whether or not Adams sin was passed down to the whole human race....Personally, I believe the Bible is pretty clear that it was...They keep using the terminology "his original sin"...to which I posed a question...Isn't there more than one sin attributed to Adam in the Garden of Eden? 1)He allowed his wife to influence his decision when God had given clear instructions NOT to eat of this particular tree 2) I find it hard to believe he properly instructed his wife (if he had, he definitely went wrong somewhere by voluntarily following her in eating…

The church, is going to just want my money. Can this be true, yes and no. If you’re visiting a Scientology church well, yes they want your riches, but if you’re visiting a true Bible preaching church, they are happy just to see you come, to Christ for salvation. Even if they don’t never see you again, on this earth.

I've dealt with many people on these issues, and I've done a lot of research...but I thought I would see what input I could get from the people here....We know that many of God's servants had issues with depression during their time in the ministry, or even outside of ministry. But, I recently had a preacher preach a sermon that said that depression, anxiety, and the blues were nothing more than sin in the lives of those who suffered these maladies. The problem is often the starting point is belief there is no God...or they cant know. Just because they look at things they can observe, they automatically rule out the supernatural. What they fail to see is they have their own religion, because they never observed one species become another. They have faith that whales became cows.. dinosaurs became birds and ape like creatures became humans. They don't have good evidence for this. Most creation scientists talk about what glasses you put on to view the evidence. I don't like this kind of thinking because it doesn't talk about the facts...but it does show preconceived assumptions. -

My niece sent me a text yesterday telling me that my father had asked for her pastor to come out to the house to talk to him about eternity. He admitted that he was a sinner and needed the Lord, and he asked the Lord to save him. Praise the Lord for answered prayers. -

Yes, I have a pastor friend in the Independence, MO area that spoke against this often. I've got an aunt and uncle in O'Fallon, MO who could be on either side of the issue.
