  1. I heard the bride would be caught up (carried away) to chamber in father's house (type of heaven), stay seven days, type of tribulation, then return to present as Bride and Groom, (type of millennial reign. would love to see documentation, wonder if Josephus ever wrote about it
  2. I've recently learned that in Ancient Jewish Weddings (esp. Galilean) were a type of the rapture. The groom would abduct the bride, take her to a chamber in his father's house where they would stay for seven days before coming out and finalizing their marriage ceremony. Where could I find actual Jewish documentation on this subject?
  3. Thanks, I missed the one verse where the Bible said he was a judge
  4. Oh glory, forgot than when one uses a concordance to make sure to read the verses around the word you are looking up. Thanks Jerry
  5. were all Nazarites judges? Not everything that the Israelites recognized is stuff that we should.
  6. The Bible never says that Samson was a judge, so why do people believe that he was a judge
  7. so you would say that Scriveners followed the same stream as the Textus Receptus?
  8. The original Textus Receptus is available in what form?
  9. And then we end up with a Bible explanation or a complete Bible of mans opinion. We wonder why there are no revivals anymore, we leave the Holy Spirit out and go with what man thinks
  10. The Textus Receptus is available where? So if they are telling why the words in the KJV is 'better' in the Greek they are probably using an Alexandrian Greek for reference. I hate when I hear those three words
  11. Does anyone have acess to the Textus Receptus and if not then which Alexandrian greek do they mean when the say 'in the greek'?
  12. I've lived long enough to remember people having many answers to prayer like this, I just don't know why it seldom happens anymore
  13. I'm sorry if you think I was arguing with you, I'm merely questioning so I can learn. I understand what you are saying about politics in church, I don't like it much either. I don't mind the occasional 'don't vote for those who support abortion etc statements though.
  14. I can't disagree with anything you say here. Thanks for putting it into perspective for me. We know that everyone thinks the other persons 'sin' is worse than theirs even if it only appears to be a sin.
  15. we ought to obey God rather than man, but didn't Trump get rid of those guidelines anyway? I think Jesus did talk politics whenever He spoke of the government, but I agree that it shouldn't be a huge focus in church services but it should be taught somewhat, even if it only touches on party platforms. Baptist churches have been doing it for years, that is why they created the 501.33guidelines. Churches taking government kickbacks on taxes created alot of issues
