This is my first sermon and would like some feedback. I am looking for feedback on the content of the sermon i.e. were there any error's in my teaching, doctrinal issues, etc. I am more concerned with preaching truth than how I look and sound. My pastor was pleased with the content and so was my grandfather who has been an independent baptist pastor for 50 years. I take them at their word but I would like feedback from other folks.

Why is it that many Christians today seem to be following and serving God but do not seem to be blessed by God and in the end fail and fall away? Cain is a perfect example of Why.... Outwardly he appeared to be a Model Christian. He Sacrificed to God, God spoke to him and he spoke to God. He asked for forgiveness and obtained mercy from God, and people saw God's mark on him. So why did he fail? In this message we discuss the reason why he and many apparent "Godly" Christians like him fall away f
Psalms 119:1-8 Sep. 5 - Oct. 2, 2019
1 ALEPH. Blessed are the undefiled in the way, who walk in the law of the LORD.
2 Blessed are they that keep his testimonies, and that seek him with the whole heart.
3 They also do no iniquity: they walk in his ways.
4 Thou hast commanded us to keep thy precepts diligently.
5 O that my ways were directed to keep thy statutes!
6 Then shall I not be ashamed, when I have respect unto all thy commandments.

Genesis 41: 47-53, “Fruit in the Life of Joseph”
“And in the seven plenteous years the earth brought forth by handfuls. And he gathered up all the food of the seven years, which were in the land of Egypt, and laid up the food in the cities: the food of the field, which was round about every city, laid he up in the same. And Joseph gathered corn as the sand of the sea, very much, until he left numbering; for it was without number. And unto Joseph were born two sons before the years of famine

1. Furnished Unto all good works perfectly and Throughly - 2 Timothy 3:16-17
16All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.
Scripture perfects a man and equips him f
Genesis 41:37-46, “God Raises Up Joseph”
Introduction
The Psalmist said, “Who is like unto the LORD our God, who dwelleth on high, Who humbleth himself to behold the things that are in heaven, and in the earth! He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth the needy out of the dunghill; That he may set him with princes, even with the princes of his people.” Psalm 113:5-8 God is going to lift Joseph out of the depths of the dungeon of Egypt, the dunghill of Egypt, the poorest of t
In this message we review what the purpose of Soulwinning is and why it is important, when possible, to emphasize the whole Commission in our soul winning presentations. Not only to save the souls from hell but to also to help sanctify them. We show how salvation (not just from Hell but for all aspects of our lives) is by believing on the LORD Jesus Christ and the Gospel is what we preach in order to led them (through the power of the Holy Spirit) to accepting Jesus as such. We take note of the
Genesis 41:1-36, “The Wise Counsel of Joseph”
Introduction
In the Old Testament, before the scriptures were written, God gave the kings of the various countries dreams in order to warn them of danger to the country and in matters of other importance. In this passage, God gave Pharaoh two dreams.
In the first dream, Genesis 41:1-4, Pharaoh dreamed about 7 fat fleshed cows and 7 ill favoured cows. The 7 ill favoured cows ate up the 7 good cows. It was a strange dream. Pharaoh awoke
Hello Family of God,
(Parentheses) within Bible passages cited are used to expound on the word/s in [brackets] which precede the parentheses. ALL CAPS are used for double emphasis; this is my way of saying, "It says what it says, and it means what it means." The Bible is self-explanatory (i.e., "the best defense of Scripture is Scripture itself") in its interpretation (i.e., "the perspicuity of Scripture"), but even to this day, we find unnecessary criticism from Biblical "scholars" and the

"Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded; But in the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all. Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed." (Luke 17:28-30)
There is rise in sexual immorality in today's world, and its rapid increase is unprecedented; but should we be surprised? that is, should Genuine and
Hello Family of God,

Hello Family of God,
Words contained within [brackets] are used to expound on or place emphasis on certain words or phrases in particular; there may also be grammatical errors: such as punctuation, sentence fragments, and misplaced modifiers, so my apologies if you may have trouble with any content concerning contextual information given in this message. Hello Family of God,
I will be focusing on the Absolute Sovereignty of Almighty God; how all Christians are to understand its purpose in Creation according to His unchanging Nature, and the Eternal consequences of willful rebellion and rejection against the Most High. My message will consist of:
I. Resistance and willful rebellion against the Sovereignty of God.
II. Absolute Faith and Trust in God is connected to understanding God's Sovereignty.
III. The Sovereignty of
Hello Family of God,
My apologies for my poor Grammar and punctuation errors; my hope for the reader is for him/her to attain a deeper Understanding of God and Christ through His Words found in Holy Scripture.
"Now if Christ be preached that he rose from the dead, how say some among you that there is no resurrection of the dead? But if there be no resurrection of the dead, then is Christ not risen: [And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also v
Hello Family of God,
"Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times? Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, [UNTIL SEVENTY TIMES SEVEN]." (Matthew 18:21-25)
It was taught by the Rabbi's of Jesus's day that forgiveness was to be granted to those seeking forgiveness up to three times; this was taken out of Old Testament Scripture where God had forgiven the enemies of Israel only three time
Hello Family of God,
"He that committeth sin is of the devil; for [the devil sinneth FROM THE BEGINNING]. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might [DESTROY THE WORKS OF THE DEVIL]. Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not from God, neither he that loveth not his brother."
Hello Family of God,
There has been so much humanism attributed to God, and much of the Bible concerning the nature of God has been misinterpreted by scholars and theologians as a result of applying the faculties of the limited mind of man in determining the eternal mind of God; especially when God Himself "decides" to respond or react according to His Divine Nature and Immutable Attributes. We see examples of this in Scripture where God seemingly acts in a way which appears contrary to His
Hello Family of God,
My heart grieves over the lost who are deceived and led astray by the cares of this world, its riches, enticements, and earthly pleasures which result in spiritual decay and ruin. Worldliness (e.g., "gambling, bars, nightclubs, wealth, sensuality, physical attractiveness, lusts, etc.,") has crept into the hearts of many "professing" Christians and are now leading them down the broad way towards ultimate destruction and eternal condemnation in the Devil's world whic
Hello Family of God,
What God has revealed to His chosen people is contained in Holy Scripture; However, there are mysteries hidden in secret which God Himself will not disclose at this present time (Deut. 29:29; Dan. 2:22; Mk. 13:32; Lk. 8:17; 1 Cor. 4:5; 13:12; Eph. 1:9; Col. 1:26; 1 Tim. 5:24-25; Rev. 10:4). We want to make absolutely certain that if anyone claims to have "hidden or secretive" knowledge that is NOT revealed in the Word of God, that we are to examine such claims utilizing
Hello Family of God,
"Do ye think that the scripture saith in vain, The spirit that dwelleth in us lusteth to envy? But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, [God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble]. [Submit] yourselves therefore to God. [Resist the devil], and he will flee from you. [DRAW NIGH TO GOD], and he will [DRAW NIGH TO YOU]. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded. Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turne
In the second part of our two part study on "Dispensational Stewardship" we show how the believer can actually discern the Bible's doctrine without first learning an artificial framework theology. We show how the natural divisions and terms already in scripture are there to aid the believer in their study.
In this overview of the Bible's terms we focuses primarily on understanding what Testaments, Covenants, Promises, and Laws are and how they work together to fulfill the Will of God. We e
In this two part general overview on "Dispensational Stewardship" we discuss Bible theology and how we should view and study the scriptures as contrasted by Dispensational and Covenant theologies. We believe the biblical view is realized when we look at the scriptures as a servant learning and serving in their God given role in life or as called here their "Dispensational Stewardship". Unlike the former two theologies which impose a man made structure and divisions onto the scriptures in attempt
Psalm 89 ends with the psalmist longing and asking for the sure and tender mercies of David that were promised to all men through David's house and covenant of Mercy. This shows us that this Spiritual house given to David by God was not just for King David but for all men who would join themselves to the Builder of that house and to David's descendant, the Christ, the Holy one Of Israel, King Jesus. (Isiah 55, Acts 13:34)
In the first three parts of Psalm 89 we are shown, with great confide
Hello Family of God,
"Then saith he to his servants, The wedding is ready, but they which were bidden were not worthy. Go ye therefore into the highways, and as many as ye shall find, bid to the marriage. So those servants went out into the highways, and gathered together all as many as they found, both bad and good: and the wedding was furnished with guests. And when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man which had not on a wedding garment: And he saith unto him, Frien
Hello Family of God,
"Little children, [let no man deceive you] (Grk. medeis planato humas; present imperative -- i.e., "do not let anyone keep on leading you to be deceived"): he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous. He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil." (1 John 3:7-8)
