The dying church and Christianity

What is the truth about what we are seeing today? Churches that were strong in the faith, fading or dying. Sometimes the Pastor that was there is no longer there, and the new Pastor is not the same or have a different way of preaching. The old members have moved or passed away to be with the Lord. The younger generations don’t wanna carry the torch and the truth of the faith. Revelations mention that hearts become cold to the faith and to each other. Christianity a majority or minority today, then 100 years ago?
