Courtship/Arranged Marriages

In my city...we have many people from India. They find it very "odd" that "we"...as Americans do not arrange our children's marriages. I have talked with many of these people...and, the parents have known oneanother and these children their whole lives. They stay married...is all I can say. On the other hand...look at the divorce rate in out country among the unsaved, as well as the saved? I have thought about this from time to time...I admit...for my own son, b/c I know that "history repeats itself". Prayfully, God will chose the right spouse for my son...as, he has been blessed to know a Godly marriage from my second husband and myself...and, He knows what the Bible says...most importantly. :thumb
