It's reassuring that many of our deputies and cops are christians. Living out in the boondocks means we have less crime. This is the biggest one we've had, and hopefully there will be none bigger.

Praise God for police who acknowledge the Lord!

Were in not for drug related crimes there would be very little crime in this very rural county or most of the counties around us.

Unfortunately, in many rural areas the city gangs are moving in as they attempt to control the drug trade. They are no longer content to be the main distributors in the cities, they want to gain control of the shipment lines and get their hands in the rural drug making department, which is main meth.

There are a few Christian officers in our town and county police forces. Unfortunately, one small town police chief professes to be a Christian and makes that known, but he's a big flirt, especially with young girls/women (he's married), he's got a huge ego, thinking himself something special, and he's very biased in his performance of his duties. That casts a bad light upon Christianity and the church he attends.

Thankfully, that police chief has two deputies who actually carry themselves as Christians. It's little wonder that many folks, if they need police assistance, will wait until one of the deputies is on duty so they won't have to deal with the arrogant chief, and knowing the deputy will be honest with them (the chief is also known to lie a lot).

So, praise God for those deputies who, even under the command of a likely secular Christian, serve Christ and their community well.
