We got the sad news tonight that one of my hubs' remaining uncles passed away. He's been sick for a while and was put on hospice this week. Please pray for the Miller and DePriest family. My hubs, too, because his family is all in OH, and there's no way he can go back there right now. We've been working on planning a trip back there and he had hoped that Uncle Warren would still be there when we visited. He has witnessed to Unc Warren many times and no interest. One of his brothers has also witnessed to Unc Warren and was shut down. However, Randy has been praying specifically that God would send someone Unc would listen to and get saved. We do not know if that happened.

My father was rushed to the VA hospital in Louisville, Kentucky last night and immediately put in their hospice unit. His emphysema and COPD has progressed to the end stages. I tried to contact him over the past 3 days because he didn't sound good last week. But, he didn't answer his phone. He couldn't. He was in and out of consciousness. My stepmom, who has Sundowner's and is rapidly going into full blown Alzheimer's, was there, but she didn't understand what was going on. A realtor friend of mine was just given a diagnosis of terminal cancer. They've given him six months to a year to live. He's saved and is active in several different forms of ministry as he's able. He's just 3 days older than I am. We're both associated with the Cowboy Church movement. His son Harley was the one that I had requested prayer for last year after he was shot 5 times. This has come as a shock to many of us, and has probably hit a little closer to home for me as I have been given from 5-7 years because of my lungs. Please pray for Steve that he'll continue serving the Lord and not become discouraged. Thank you BT

My brother and sister in law live in Riverview FL, as are my niece and her husband. I talked to my brother this morning and he said the storm surge was really bad but that they are okay. My sister in Augusta Georgia called at 3AM and said they had sustained winds of 65 mph with gusts up to 95 mph. The power is out. My BIL is using his Police radio to keep track of what's going on. They had to have a lady my sister takes care of in their home as she was very fearful. A lot of damage in their area. We've had some flooding here. Please keep us in your prayers. Thank you BT

My hubs got a call this evening from one of his brothers. Another brother is in the hospital. He had a stroke. He has been in poor health for quite a while, so we don't know what the end result will be. His name is Jerry. He is born again, thankfully. His wife Regina went to Glory a couple years back. Please be in prayer for Jerry, and for my hubs and his other brothers (there are 3 more). They lost their older brother the year after their dad died. 'Twould be quite the reunion in Heaven were the Lord to call Jerry home. We hope it's not his time yet, but we shall see. Thank you.

When I was growing up, I use to think that when I will be big, I will build a charity home to Carter for the poor. Today, I am the poor looking for bread in the trash. Many think that helping the underprivileged is charity. It is an issue of justice. The poor are suffering injustice, they are not free people. We received a call the night before last notifying us of my wife's sister's intent to divorce her second husband. She came home from work ten days ago and was met by her husband in a terrible mood. They had gone to his mother's home, and he and his mother tried to coerce my SIL to try to go back to work at Walmart because he wants to retire. In doing so he would be without insurance and need someone else's insurance. My wife and I recently had to leave our doctor because he wasn't treating our health conditions correctly and was lax in actually trying to get to the root of these challenges. Both my wife and I have been diagnosed recently with myocarditis (heart failure), and I was put on heart medication this past week. My wife's heart meds were increased in dosage. This was a shock to both of us when given the information. I had my bloodwork come back and my A1C's were at 10.3, the highest they've been in the last six years. 3 days ago my husband had a heart transplant after 6 months in the hospital. The new heart is not acting as it should either. He is on a heart bypass machine, ventilation and he has not woken up. His name is Andy, he's only 52 years old. Please please pray for complete and total healing. Thank you and God bless.

Hunger became my way of life. Sicknesses and homelessness became a part of me. I resisted and waited on the lord for years. I have written many letter to organizations, churches and everywhere necessary no change. I went hungry from Tuesday to Thursday. I ate nothing. I was shivering and looking sick and very weak. Yeppers... many of us have noticed how over the past 50+ years Tom Turkey has been pushed off the road by the fat man in the bright red suit, flying around with his eight tiny reindeer! LOL The over commercialization of Christmas has gotten way out of hand! My parents Western Wear Store would NEVER allow Thanksgiving to be bypassed. None of the decorations for Christmas at their store came out until BLACK FRIDAY. I'm thankful for that. 🤠 -

Have we fallen short in baptisms? And why are baptisms being used as a measure for how strong churches are? Many pastors have seen the futility and falseness of dunking people just for the numbers? They've come to the realization that people need to understand what baptism is, and in the true discipling of people first. In the days of Christ people understood the implications of being baptized into this new religion called Christianity. They could be kicked out of the synagogues, lose their livelihoods, and even their lives. That's exactly what Saul of Tarsus was doing before he had his encounter with Christ on the road to Damascus. -
