  1. Exodus 34:28 And he was there with the LORD forty days and forty nights; he did neither eat bread, nor drink water. And he wrote upon the tables the words of the covenant, the ten commandments. How stupid are you?
  2. The deal is this. Either you believe that the King James is an accurate translation of the correct manuscripts or you don't. Those idiots that say, "I can lead someone to Christ with any translation," are emotionally invested in changing translations. I can cut a steak with a butter knife, but it is still a butter knife.
  3. John 3 is the conversation of Jesus and Nicodemus where Jesus explains that being born again is the only way to see and enter the kingdom of God. Then he says this, John 3:10 Jesus answered and said unto him, Art thou a master of Israel, and knowest not these things? It sounds like Jesus expected Nicodemus to know this as a master of Israel. And Jesus is described as Revelation 13:8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. So I agree with you.
  4. What do you expect from a poster who lists his religion as "other".
  5. I am persuaded that English is not your first language. Was ist Ihre Frage zu Sklven? Welche Verse lesen Sie?
  6. That isn't thinking, it is obfuscating.
  7. Heresy cannot be judged by understanding the point of view of any group. That kind of reasoning is called relativism. Truth is judged by the written Word of God. You seem to be concerned with the intent of the teacher instead of the teaching itself, which is very difficult to assess. As someone once said, one can be sincere, but sincerely wrong.
  8. Ephesians 4:5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism,
  9. If I have learned anything from the documentaries "My Three Sons" and "Family Affair" is that children raised my a single father turn out pretty good.
  10. Mike, I think that personal perfection is referred to here: 1 Corinthians 13:12 For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known. I also don't think ministry gifts have ever ceased, but only the sign gifts such as tongues, prophesy, faith healers, etc.
  11. Compromise is everywhere. Find a good church and join it. 2 Timothy 3:13-15 But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived. 14 But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them; 15 And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
  12. Three of my grandchildren have been saved and baptized this year. Their church has an altar call after every service. My church also has an altar call after each service. My church is much smaller than theirs, which probably accounts for fewer baptisms, It isn't for a lack of witnessing.
  13. Believe it or not, evangelicals are being targeted by Soros and associates for just this reason. Why people don't read their bibles and trust the simple truths of it, I'll never understand.
