  1. The whole book of Revelation. Where do you come up with 10 days? I must be missing something here. There are three and a half years of relative peace with the antichrist signing a 3 1/2 year peace treaty with Israel. He breaks it which brings 3 1/2 years of great tribulation. Seven years total. This is the second time you've implied someone is either "adding to scripture" or doesn't know what they are talking about. You've eluded to "10 years, " but have provided no scriptural reference to this.
  2. Last night was the second night of my famous meatloaf. I didn't feel like cooking a lot of extra dishes, so I opened a can of Veg All. I ended up eating my meatloaf as two sandwiches. Comfort food is always a good thing.
  3. So, you're saying you want Christian women following the Islamic dress codes for their women? They may "look just fine" to you, but it looks quite repressive to me and reminds me of the legalism I and others experienced under the overreaching IFB leadership. Adding one's own preferences to what the Bible says is NEVER a good thing.
  4. The Bible warns us against such things.
  5. I'm not going because my coffins too comfy.
  6. You're correct. My mistake. I NEVER quit. I just fade away.
  7. Question...then why in the world would you post something like that? It's unproductive.
  8. Assuming something like this without proof is akin to backbiting, grumbling, causing dissention, and slander. The Bible talks a lot about these kind of things. A halo'd emoticon doesn't excuse these kinds of things or make it cute.
  9. I'd rather have some bad tweets and a good economy rather than a person who is elected just because he claims to be a Christian. We went through this when Carter was elected. No thanks.
  10. I still have many friends who don't believe that the United States landed on the moon. If they did, it wasn't made of cheese then, either. If China made it, congratulations to them! That's quite an accomplishment.
  11. Yes, there's a new Speaker. But after the backlash from constituents, they really didn't have much of a choice but to elect one, and quickly. The American public, including many Republicans are losing faith in the Republican Party.
  12. Yep! You're our peddler, our CONNECTION! LOL ????
  13. Mr. Trump has a motor mouth. Let's be honest, he loves to hear himself talk, and he often says too much. If he got the nomination I would vote for him, but I would definitely be holding my nose and limiting what I listened to from him. There's been far too many times he's been wrong about people, including Bibi.
  14. The Houthis seem to have the Qud 4 and Qud ZO missiles that they could fire at such a range. In the past they have threatened to fire missiles into Tel Aviv and Eilat.
  15. Joel Osteen. TGL is having a hard time at times with his English. But, I expect that from most Hispanics if they're first or second generation Americans. My wife and I have worked with many, legal and illegal alike, and some catch on quite quickly while others don't. TGL, this isn't a slam on you. I can't remember if you told me you were first or second generation. Would you refresh my memory, please?
  16. Bringing up bicycles....a pastor friend of ours was killed in Athens, Alabama two days ago while he was riding his bike. It was a hit and run. He was pastor of the Limestone County Cowboy Church. He was only 68. I'm sure his church and family would appreciate our prayers. TIA. BT
  17. I don't believe there's anything wrong with parents wanting their children to marry saved and serving individuals. Though we have no children of our own, we always encouraged and prayed that our nieces would marry Godly men, and that our nephews would marry Godly young ladies. To be honest, not one of them has done so. Some are on their second marriages, while others have decided that shacking up is the way to go. Five of these nieces are my baby sisters daughters Becky used to be a pastors wife. Her husband was an emotional and spiritual abuser of them all, and this has taken a serious toll not only on my sister, who is now in the process of finalizing her second divorce, but on their five girls. My ex brother in law used to be on staff at Paul Chappelle church in California. I believe only three or four of my 25 nieces and 18 nephews are saved. Only one and his family are actively serving the Lord in the church they attend. I'm very proud of this nephew because he came back from Iraq after being seriously injured, got married and divorced within one year of his return, and then turned back to the Lord a year or so later. He got remarried to a wonderful young lady, and they have two girls and a boy. It's always a good thing to try to point ones children to Godly influences and potential mates as long as we're not playing the Holy Spirit. Good subject matter, TGL. ?
  18. Some come just to get a few answers, not to take up residency. Staying isn't a compulsion, but rather a choice.
  19. If you call a much better economy and a secured border "hell on earth," it would seem your values line up with the Social Democrats. Not to mention, Mr. Trump doesn't believe that conservatives and Christians should be sent to reeducation camps. Mr. Pence is too wishy washy, wanting to have his cake and eat it, too. I sincerely doubt he would be an effective POTUS.
  20. Last night I made a large pot of ham and beans and cornbread. We're going to finish it up tonight. We had Vidalia onions with it. Comfort food for the cooler weather.
  21. These types of non issues posted by the brother have started to weary many of us. We've encouraged him to post more positive, productive things to no avail.
  22. Did you mean "strangest?" This Republican party is far from being strong! They're very weak.
  23. For one, you have no idea what Palestinian militants have, nor what technology they have access to. Having many groups in Gaza backed by Iran, and with the military equipment left behind in various places, especially in Afghanistan, there's the possibility and likelihood that they have much more available than you think. It's highly likely that Islamic Jihad was responsible for the misguided missile. You're always welcome to your leanings, but some of us find it's highly debatable.
  24. We have a lot of Muslims in our area, and its quite clear many of them are rejoicing over the surprise attacks on the Israeli people. Sad... truly sad.
