Hubris, the destroyer of men, nations, and dreams.  This article though it never mentions mans major problem, sin as belief in ones own abilities instead of the will of God, pretty well shows it as it manifests itself in the lives of so-called geniuses and the powerful.  Unfortunately many are fooled by apparent quick sucess and follow these people to their own hurt.

 

It would be best to follow and worship the real shepherd.  That is where the future is.
