Text Jumping in IE8

I've been away for awhile, but when I tried to post using IE8, I had the very same problem I had in another forum....text jumping! I am using Firefox 3.0.10 (the latest version) and I have no problem posting with FF...but IE8 is an entirely different story. Also, I am still using XP Home Edition. Here is the problem in a nutshell (if I can fit it in the nutshell):

As I am typing my post using IE8, everything is fine...UNTIL the scroll bar (on the right side of the text box gets shorter. As the post gets longer and scroll bar gets shorter the text in the text box jumps to almost the beginning of the post when I hit "Enter" or when I come to the end of the line of typing. IOW, every time the text jumps I have to scroll down to get back to where I left off in the previous sentence...have to do this each and every time. Therefore, it takes forever and a day to post using IE8. I've switched to FF. But FF has its problems...it shuts down on me without warning and I lose all my work. I guess there is no perfect browser.

Does anybody else have this problem with IE8?

Really nice looking forum Bro Matt! I'm going to try using IE8 with this format. Right now, I am using Firefox. I will let you know if the text jumps around.
