--Doughnuts

2 Cups Flour
3/4 Cup Sugar
2 teaspoons Baking Powder
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon

3/4 Cup Milk
2 Eggs, beaten
1 teaspoon Vanilla
1 Tablespoon Shortening, melted

--Glaze
1 Cup Powdered Sugar
2 Tablespoons HOT water

Preheat oven to 325*F. Combine dry and wet ingredients until well blended. Lightly coat Doughnut Pan with cooking spray. Fill each Doughnut Hole 2/3 full. Bake 8 minutes or until tops spring back when lightly touched. Remove from pan and dip in glaze, or instead of the glaze, mist the doughnuts with water and dip into cinnamon sugar. Makes about 12 doughnuts.

We have found a very good way to fill the doughnut holes. Fill an icing bag with the dough, and use it to fill the doughnut hole pan.
