Is Hell a place of eternal torment? That is the long and the short of it. My friend the rabbi says the Christian concept of hell is not the Jewish concept of hell. Furthermore let's postulate that for the Christian it should be understood more properly you either have eternal life or you are eternally dead. And that death is a place of no thought basically you're "asleep" let's say that you have no more part in this world and that the dead are dead and they stay dead until the return of Jesus Christ in the clouds. And that once Christ returns the dead in Christ shall rise first, that nobody who's died is alive today in heaven except for Jesus Christ, who is resurrected. …

Reader, Jesus died on the CROSS, which is the only WAY you'll get to go to heaven,. John 14:6 Now let me show you this verse as Matt 7. Matthew 7 The Broad WAY... vs.. the NARROW WAY. 1.) BROAD is the WAY, (the means and the method and the path) = to DESTRUCTION... The BROAD WAY.. .is any WAY, any means, any RELIGION or SELF EFFORT to try to go to heaven, or to to be accepted by GOD>. This is.."there is a WAY that seems right to a person"..... This is all the "" BROAD WAY that leads to "DESTRUCTION">.= and that is HELL........as HELL is the ""2nd DEATH, or outer darkness"", and that is to be eternally separated from GOD, who "exists in LIGHT…

I wonder if it would be possible to add some "Topics" to the Forum Content Page ? 1.) Christian Theology 2.) Bible Study 3. Christian Spirituality Those are good for a Forum, as "Topics". So.... Im was just on another forum that is mostly Legalists and Heretics and Cult members..(sort of the same thing)..... and probably not one Baptist or Presbyterian is on it. One of the members there was, as usual, giving all credit to His WORKS for saving him and keeping him saved. You've probably had this type of religious person on this forum who teaches that "God saves us so that we can now go and keep the Law"? Ever dealt with one of t…

Reader, How the Law defines you, vs, How It can't anymore. So, understand..... that if you are not born again, then all your sin is unresolved and you'll die in it, including the main one.. as that is to have died never born again, as a Christ rejector.. and Hell is waiting for those, and some died and found that out in the last 30 seconds. So, ALL of that, is to be "under the law" and under God's wrath, which is eternal = John 3:36 whereas...... If you are born again, then you are "Not under the law, but UNDER GRACE" and you can never again be defined by the Law or Commandments as a sinner. This is why the NEW Covenant, defines the born again as a SAI…

Reader, 1.) Righteousness is not something you can do. Righteousness is something you exist AS,... born again "In Christ", or you dont. The Born again are "made righteous" or there is no righteousness at all. Righteousness comes from God, as "The Gift of Righteousness". Adam WAS originally Righteous, as that was his status, as "one with God"....... and he lost that and became a sinner, fallen. That is "spiritual death"... However....that isn't the death of the spirit, but its the separation from God's Spirit. When we are born again, we are re-joined to God..........and this is "Spiritual union" ... found as "in Christ"... "one with God". Th…

https://www.facebook.com/share/v/4ch8cabJ4di6evzY/?mibextid=oFDknk Isn't someone you "hate", an "enemy"? Jesus told us to "love your enemies" that we may be the "children of your Father". So if we obey that, and love our enemies as our Father does His, even WE can be more holy than RC Sproul's false God. Cuz RC Sproul says his god don't live his enemies. I guess he knows better now. But knows too late.

Woke is an odd word—and not just because it is a past tense verb that is now commonly used as an adjective. It’s odd because it has vague connotations without clear definitions. This ambiguity allows those who appreciate the word’s implications to write off those who criticize its implications as “just not understanding its meaning.” In conversations like this, clarity is always our friend. That’s why I was thankful when someone from our Sheriff’s Department recently asked me what I meant in using the word woke. This individual is not a believer, and I was happy to answer his question from a Christian perspective. Below is a lightly-edited copy of the letter that I wr…

Any one see this Super bowl commercial? While I understand the anti hate message they were trying to get across, I think they did it the wrong way. First of Who's feet did Jesus wash?

The apostle Paul’s solemn charge to Timothy was to “preach the Word.” Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. (2 Timothy 4:2) Biblical preaching and teaching is the expounding of the Word of God to a world that needs to hear it. Of course, the gospel is our central message in preaching. But pastors are also to declare “all the counsel of God” (Acts 20:27) as the expound Scripture to their church family. I have been preaching now for just over forty years. This is God’s calling on my life and is one of the great privileges of my ministry as a pastor as well as in training preachers at West Coas…

There is something about Jesus I want to know. - The leper came to him they went back rejoicing -the blind came to him and went back rejoicing -The lady with the issue of blood touch his garment, everything about her change, she went back rejoicing. -At the wedding in John 2, the people went back rejoicing. The deaf came to him, they went back rejoicing. My worry is; Have we offended God? Do we not worship him properly? why the war, hardly, hunger, homelessness? Wondering, why will God not stop the wicked from perpetuating wickedness on others. This I have often asked myself. Why is he abandon the weak and …

In the King James, there are two basic forms of the word "you". If the sentence is speaking to a group, as the direct object, the plural form "you" is used (or "ye" if the group is the subject) If speaking to an individual, it uses the word "thou".(or thee for a direct object). But I never noticed this before. The following verse changes from plural to singular. Deuteronomy 30:19 I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live: God in His grace, specifically offered life and death, blessing and cursing to the whole group (you, plura…

1. Avoid an uncertian sound. Don’t engage in activities or associations that make your testimony for Christ unclear. “For if the trumpet give an uncertain sound, who shall prepare himself to the battle?” (1 Corinthians 14:8). 2. Let not your good be evil spoken of. Be willing to limit your Christian liberty to avoid causing a stumbling block to others. “Let not then your good be evil spoken of” (Romans 14:16). 3. Do not make a major decision without godly counsel. I have sought men who are my seniors to ask counsel of for significant decisions. “Where no counsel is, the people fall: but in the multitude of counsellors there is safety” (Proverbs 11:14). 4. To change …
