We got back a little while ago from a Southern Gospel Concert. It was so uplifting you could feel God moving in the place. One of the groups had lost a member about 1 1/2 weeks ago in a car accident. One of the people in the group was the dead man's brother. He gave a wonderful testimony of how even though he would miss his brother he knew without a doubt he was in Heaven and much better. The strength and conviction of this young man was very inspiring. They sang a song the man had written and it was such a blessing as well. With Church last night and the concert tonight my spiritual batteries are fully charged and I just wanted to say Praise God for his Son Jesus Christ,…

Thank you Lord for getting me to a place where I can lift that heavy bucket with my muscles instead of my joints. For giving me the stamina to get through all of the scrubbing without taking a long break in between. You are a merciful God and this means so much to me. Praise Your Holy Name!!

I complete agree brother, we younger people are taught as you said that we are the descendants of primates, we are then taught that as you’ve mentioned about the new view of the Bible, that our religion is wrong and backward, a very sad thing in todays education. I hear it even from teachers and peers who would profess to be Christians.

It's strange how the Bible was held in such high esteem then, but that after this trial, not so very far from where I live today, the Bible is no longer welcomed into the classroom, and we are now considered to be the proginy of monkeys. It's so very sad. -
Hello brothers and sisters, I was recently given the assignment of writing a paper on the infamous Scopes V. Tennessee trial. I found it quite interesting how the defense attorney, Clarence Darrow, had no genuine argument or examination of the evidence itself. He instead called the prosecuting attorney, Mr. William Jennings Bryan, as a sole witness and ridiculed his faith, interpretation of the Bible, and his view of the creation account.
