At about the age of 7, I was joyously saved.  I still have an image in my mind of laying in my little bed crying out to the Lord to forgive me of all of my sin and to save me.  The story of my life is full of bumps and bruises and wounds, but the Lord has taught me II Cor. 4:15-18 and my greatest desire is  "I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus".  The more I learn of Him, the more I see I need to learn--but what a JOY it is to open up His Word, which is very much "alive" (quick)..."But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us" (II Cor. 4:7).
