Well here is something I have recently thought of - I think maybe I have tuberculosis and didn't know it?

I have had a lingering "chest cold" for almost 2 months that I just can't seem to shake. I was reading an article on another thread about a weird strain of TB, so I was curious and I looked up the symptoms - I have every one of them!

I am going to the Health Dept. on Monday to have the TB test done (arm prick) just to be sure. Will y'all pray for me please?

Don't you know that without insurance it is going to take a miracle to find a doctor who will treat me?

Do you qualify for State assistance for medical bills?

[IM4given]

Nope I make too much to qualify for any government assistance, but too little to actually purchase insurance and still pay rent, utilities, etc.

I am going to try the Health Department first, don't you think that is a good idea?

Some states raised the amount you can make and still qualify but don't you know I think your idea is probably a good place to start?

They are pretty good about making a diagnosis, but they don't refer you to any clinics or anything where you can get an actual prescription written and filled.

So at least if one is going to die, I know what I am dying from, right?

You know I would want to know, even if nothing could be done, right?
