Members IM4given
Did y'all know that all of this talk about snow and ice is making me feel cold this morning? (The cold front went through here last night and the temperatures plummetted down to the 50s last night! BRRRRR!)
Members hermanj
Don't you know I would DIE for temperatures in the 50's right now?
Members IM4given
Do you know the more I watch the weather on television, the happier I am and the more blessed I feel to be living in Florida?
Members annette_j
Do you know that yesterday when I woke up we didn't even have a snow-bank in our yard, and now we have 6 feet snow-banks? (12 inches of snow will do that)
Members IM4given
Do you know I remember a 17 inch snowfall that happened in W. Kentucky in the 80s that had us completely snowed in without electricity or access to the outside world for 6 whole weeks? BRRRRRRRRRRRRRR! Members annette_j
Why would I remember that I was just young back in the 80's?
Members John81
Can you believe I was young in the 80s too (late teens and 20s)?
Members IM4given
We had plenty of food and a propane gas cook stove to keep warm, and I piled all of the blankets we had onto one bed to keep us warm - everyone slept in that one bed, including the critters, and we managed to keep warm enough. All the water was froze up, so we had to go out and get pails of snow to bring in and melt to make coffee and hot cocoa... Don't you know it is nicer to think back on those days than it is to live through it?
Members annette_j
2 Christmas's ago in a 48 hour period we were given 37 inches of snow, on me it was waist deep. I was stranded in the house for 4 days... it was really yucky!!! Do you miss snow?
Members hermanj
Don't you know that the snow has only been gone for 1 day and I already miss it?
