Would you believe that I can remember the very first time I ever ate a real hamburger? It was at Shoney's Big Boy Restaurant in Bessimer Alabama when I was 9 years old. It was all wrapped in a foil wrapper and served up on a real plate, with a frilly toothpick through it to hold it all together.

Would you believe I can remember my first Big Mac, too! All I had to to do was recite their ingredients...two all beef patties, special sauce, cheese, lettuce, pickles, onions, on a sesame seed bun, and they gave you a free hamburger (they costs 50 cents back then).
