Good singing and preaching tonight. After the hymns a woman sung how great thou art. Preaching was on fellowship. I'm thankful for a good church to attend.

I heard the first are actually going to be last so does that mean the one who started this thread is the real winner? lol

Well, I got this here thing inside me.  One doc calls it a node, one doc calls it a mass, so I don't know what to call it.  So anyways; I got this thing and they did a biopsy yesterday and they won't

Sounds like you also have a wonderful relationship with your father. I just hope one day, that both of my parents would accept the LORD as their Saviour. It is one of my prayers. I am sad to say there are many in my family whom do not know HIM.

Our weekend highs are supposed to be in the teens or twenties with lows near 0. We are expected to have high winds causing windchill temperatures to be below zero!

Where are those little freezing emoticons when we need them!? :eye:

I know this is in the "question" thread, but this is where I should have posted it even though I was asking a question (can't get too many comments in the other thread!)

Does anyone else think it doesn't seem right, or perhaps even get irritated when you read pastors and Christian authors discussing Scripture and on the one hand they claim that Scripture is from God, but then as they talk about what is written they say something like, "Paul certainly must have been thinking a lot about the end-times when he wrote that epistle", or "Peter must have known these things from his Jewish background as it clearly influenced his epistle", and such comments?

Sorry for the long sentence!

It seems they are indicating they believe some of the writers personal thoughts, ideas or beliefs are the reason for part of what is written. If the Scriptures are God breathed, this couldn't be so.

Maybe it's just me, but some authors really seem to put forth the notion that at least some of what is written in the Scripture is more human than divine!

For Honeys Sake is a dramatic reading. A girl in my church wants to do it I did it a while back but I can not seem to find it now. It is about a little girl who is blind and her mother is really ill, the state pays for surgery on her eyes and by the time she gets back home her mother has died. Anyway yah I looked for like an hour last night to no avail
