Members John81
We watched Left Behind over the weekend. While the movie is not theologically perfect, it makes for good conversation starters and provides the opportunity to discuss the errors in the movie as compared to the truth from Scripture. Members John81
Three hours is a long sitting for a movie, but if it's a good one I can handle it.

Members John81
It can be hard to find good movies. Most of the time I look for the older ones.

Members John81
Tell me about that Kayla...I'm not sure if I've heard of that one before.
Members Kayla
Shop around the Corner is an old classic starring Jimmy Stewart and Margaret Sullivan set in Budapest during the 30s where they work in a store together.

Members Kayla
It wasn't filmed until the 40s...actually I think it was released in 1939...however it is one of the most popular movies in film history I can't believe John doesn't know about it. Members John81
When I was younger my Mom hated anything black and white so for a good many years I ignored the older stuff because much of it was black and white. Also, I tend to get stuck in a groove for awhile where I look for films by specific actors only or specific genres only which means I don't even notice the other stuff during that time. Anyway Happy Sunday!
Members Kayla
I recommend it along with "The Farmer's Daughter" which was on last night. I think it is awesome. It is about a swedish farm girl named Katy who runs for congress...You'd like it. It has a love story for the Mrs and action for you. :smile
