It's good to have someone wonderful to grow old with. Â Exactly. Â It doesn't take much to please old married couples. Â I truly believe that love grows over time, too. Â I love being married. Â Even in an abusive first marriage, I still loved having a husband. Â Praise the Lord, He gave me a good godly husband to grow old with. Well, I gotta go. Â Food is ready. Â Joe is chomping at the bit to eat. Â Talk with you, tomorrow. Â Have a good night. John81
Members John81
What I thought was such strong, powerful love when I was young is nothing compared to the love I have for my wife now. Love does mature and it's a wonderful experience. HappyChristian and candlelight

Members John81
Deep, mature love of a spouse is soooooooooooo much better than the hormonal and emotion-hyped "love" of the younger years.
Moderators Salyan Posted January 25, 2014 Moderators Share Posted January 25, 2014 New joke! How do you know you're an IFB lady? When it takes you fifteen minutes and checking every corner of your room to remember where you stored your solitary pair of pants for skiing. Lynnie86
Administrators HappyChristian Posted January 25, 2014 Administrators Share Posted January 25, 2014 Lol, salyan. What I don't understand is why anyone would want to ski. :-D
Members John81
Skiing looks fun but I'm not about to try that for the first time at my age!
Members candlelight
I used to ski when I was in high school. Â When I worked my first two years of teaching, I was one of two in charge of a middle school ski club. Â It was fun. Â It's a great way to keep in shape. Members John81
I've never been anywhere to ski. Our youth group went on a ski trip one year and one youth managed to break both arms!

It is a very challenging sport.

Oh, you're talking about water skiing, DaveW. I believe Salyan is talking about snow skiing.  I have done both, but find snow skiing a little easier b/c you have your feet on solid ground. Members John81
My Dad used to water ski a lot when I was a child. We used to spend a lot of weekends down on the Mississippi River during the summer months.

Like, within about 3000 miles of here. Have done a bit of sandboarding, ans more than a few years ago I tried grass skiing, but actually even when we made the trip, I never snow skiied... sledding yes....
