Administrators HappyChristian Posted December 14, 2013 Administrators Share Posted December 14, 2013 Lol. It's snowing here. Little tiny flakes, but lots of them. Supposed to get 3-6 inches tonight. The roads are so cold the snow stuck right away. I'm thinking we could get more because of lake effect.

It's really just a matter of gravity, the same as with rain Miss Daisy
Administrators HappyChristian Posted December 15, 2013 Administrators Share Posted December 15, 2013 Lol, John. Fallling snow really is pretty, and it muffles sound so that if you are outside its quiet - kind of an odd quiet, but it is neat. However, I for one would not cry if we moved to a snow-free area. Members John81
Since my ears started ringing about five years ago I can't fully enjoy quiet anymore. I miss true peace and quiet.
Members JerryNumbers
I have seen snow on the ground when we have been on holidays but I have never seen snow falling. There has been times wen I wish I had not seen it falling. I recall one winter evening back in my truck driving days just before dusk I was going though Arizona headed up what is called Texas Canyon. It stated snowing just as I started up the mountain, before I came down on the other side it was already about 1 foot deep & rising. Thankfully it stopped, I had to be in Los Angeles the next morning. Snow can be pretty yet not when your on the road.
Members Miss Daisy
it's pretty until it's disturbed by snowplows and dirt in slush on the side of the road and your car
Members DaveW
I driven in snow - in both 2wd and 4x4, with and without chains, when on holiday - but never seen it actually snowing. Don't get me wrong - I don't want to live in it, just to visit on occasion. And right now we have our fourth day near 110°f. Never snowed in Perth. Ever. As far as I know... ;)
Administrators HappyChristian Posted December 16, 2013 Administrators Share Posted December 16, 2013 Ah, but wait, Dave...if it snows in Egypt, could Perth be far behind? Miss Daisy
