We visited Linda's 90 year old aunt, who was her mothers twin sister.

My Mom's Mom lived into her 90s. The rest of the family, especially the men, died much younger.

This aunt is one of the oldest members left, other did not live so long. Oh, she was faithful at church!

In the last couple of years we have lost some faithful elderly ladies at our church. Each attended church faithfully until they could no longer do so. Most passed away shortly after reaching that point. One lady who lived on bedridden for some years became a faithful prayer warrior from her bed. She also was active in writing encouraging notes to folks as well as making encouraging phone calls.

We have too. My wife's aunt just stopped driving due to eye troubles.

Me too, 1/8 inch of rain, now the sun will probably come out, & it will bake us in that good old southern humidity.

We are to have chances of scattered rain tonight into tomorrow but they say not to expect much, if any, actual rainfall. At least the temps are supposed to cool down some.

Yes, today was a bit cooler, but humid. Nice to have a break in the temps we've been having.

Our best chance of rain is 60% Sunday & Monday, them it goes down very fast.

Today was the first time I've took a shower and wasn't almost immediately covered with sweat right after drying off! These near normal temperatures today almost make it seem like Fall after a couple weeks of hundred degree weather.

We stayed at about 90 yesterday, mid 90's today, They still say we might have a chance for rain. I feel baked when I stay outside very long, & the ground looks fully baked.
