Members John81
Right now it's very, very quiet. For some reason, I now feel like hunting rabbit! :frog

Members John81
My Dad used to be so stealthy and quick that he could sneak up on a rabbit and catch it by hand!
Members Jesuspaiditall4all
Wow that is quick indeed...not many people can accomplish that!!

Members John81
When my Dad was younger he was like a combination of Daniel Boone, Davey Crockett and John Wayne.
Members Jesuspaiditall4all
How cool........my Dad was and still is very much that way too. I am blessed to have a Dad who is very in tune with nature... :D
Members John81
My Dad developed health problems or he would still be hunting and fishing as often as he could. It's a real shame because Dad hates the indoors and hates not being able to do all the things he loves. It's also a shame because I had always looked forward to taking my sons hunting with my Dad but that's impossible now.
Members Jesuspaiditall4all
I am sorry to hear that John81. You know, your Dad is very much like my own and I am thankful that he is still able to come along hunting with us when we go. He just turned 74 last Feb.
Members John81
That's great that your Dad is still active. I always imagined my Dad would be very active as long as he lived. He's still more active than the doctors say he should be, but with the past few years he's come to realize that he simply can't do the things he used to do unless he wants to risk dropping dead. Members Jesuspaiditall4all
It's great that he is aware that he is now limited in what he is able to do....some people will not accept their limitations and create more problems because of it.
