Members JerryNumbers
I'll be glad when Al Gore gets this global warming under control so we won't be so cold! I figure he will stay shut up about global waring until spring time, or maybe even summer.
Members John81
Right before this deep freeze spread across the country Gore was announcing that within 5 years the polar ice caps would melt away. Now he's probably sitting around his mansion (which uses more energy in one month than most homes use in a year) doing just what you say...waiting for spring and hoping it's really warm. Members JerryNumbers
Do you suppose he is trying to figure out a way to explain to the world that all of this cold is another big sign of 'global warming' is an immediate threat to all of us? Members John81
He's actually done that before! He's tried to claim that weather such as this deep freeze is happening only because of global warming. He's tried to say that because of global warming the planets out of whack and this is what is causing extra cold conditions. In the late 60s and early 70s the brilliant scientists were predicting a new Ice Age. Of course folks weren't too worried about polar glaciers moving southward about an inch a year. Global warming sounds so much scarier! There have also been several Hollywood films which have attempted to portray that global warming may cause an Ice Age! I think one of them is called "The Day After Tomorrow".
