Members matie-k
We had some guests over recently, and the guy had a peach phobia! He seriously just didn't like to be even near them!
Members IM4given
I like to take a peck of fresh peaches and peel them , saving the skins and the seeds. Then I take the peaches and cut em up and make a cobbler with them - sprinkled with sugar and cinannamon and served with Ice Cream. I put the skins and pits in a pot and boil them to make juice to turn into peach jelly! YUMMY! The mush of peels and pits goes out to the hog pen, they really seem to enjoy it too! So one peck of peaches goes three ways - cobbler, jelly, and pork chops! :hungry:
Members matie-k
I've never thought of using the peels and pits that way - good idea!

Members IM4given
I can feel my arteries hardening just thinking about it! The only thing better than a bacon sandwich with a thick slice of home grown mater on it, is a big ole chuck of venison steak smothered in gravy with mashed taters.
