Members 5dumplings@home
Out here in the beautiful PNW, we don't need ac until mid-July, and even then pretty much only in the evenings. How's that for backwards?
Members John81
I want a summer home in Alaska and a winter home in Florida and I'll just stop by and visit everyone in between as I make my treks back and forth. :Green

Members John81
The only problem with that idea is my wife! She's fine with the Florida home idea but she's set against the Alaska home. My wife doesn't like the cold. If it's below 80, she'll get cold. :bonK:
Members 5dumplings@home
LOL, what does she think of eternal night or eternal day up there in the north country?
Members John81
She's mostly only concerned about the temperature. Myself, I'd sure like to try all the different aspects of Alaska living. :smile
Members 5dumplings@home
I have some friends who have 3 sons. The middle and the youngest and their families live in Fairbanks. I think they are planning on moving up to be with the grandbabies...er, kids...when they retire. Otherwise, their oldest son and his family are missionaries in Mongolia, so they would be closer to them also. (Is it possible to get closer to Mongolia without actually living there?) Members tired
There are second page smilies?
Members IM4given
Yep - the "1st page" are some 38 smilies that come with the "Post a reply" feature, and you usually gain access to the 2nd page smilies when you double click on "view more smilies" - it is supposed to open up a second window. My computer crashes whenever I attempt to open the second page up - I do not know if it a malfunction at my end or the board? :puzzled:
