Members John81
Y'all are just toooooooooo much! Especially with this dial-up! :frog
Members IM4given
My bundled service is cheaper than diap-up John! I get basic cable (for news), unlimited long distance telephone, and DSL for only $125! Just my telephone bill used to be that much!!! I feel very blessed to have access to such a service and to be able to afford it! :amen:
Members John81
Here in the sticks, anything better than dial-up is expensive and even the couple of bundle packages I've looked at would still cost much more than I am paying now. :sad
Members IM4given
When I was in Kentucky I was 5 miles outside the cable television access - so we made do with an antenna on a long long long pole - we could only get one television station for MANY years. Needless to say - tv did not play any sort of major role in our lives - which was a good thing. I am relatively new to all of this modern gadgetry - so I guess that is why it still fascinates me so much.
Members John81
I hear ya Janet! I can still remember when we could only get two channels on TV and how excited we were when we got another antenna that allowed us to pick up ONE more channel!
Administrators HappyChristian Posted July 19, 2007 Administrators Share Posted July 19, 2007 When I was younger, we lived in WV for a while - same thing - two stations without cable. The two stations sometimes came in, sometimes didn't. We didn't miss the shows, though. Too much living to do on our 100.8 acre farm. Loved those hills!
