Tonight we have a chuck roast in the crock pot, and are adding mac & cheese, green beans and buttered bread! MMmmmmMMMMMMMmmm! 🙂

I had that last night and ate the left overs tonight. I make it as a Pot Roast. Cook it on low on the stovetop for about four hours, it comes out so tender it falls apart when trying to get it out of the pot. It and I made almost a quart of wonderful brown gravy, love that gravy.

It was really tender and fell apart while I was taking it out of the crockpot! My wife just loved it. 🙂 I wanted to add potatoes, carrots, onions and celery, but I didn't have all of them. 😞 But, the mac & cheese and the veggie did very well. I bet you, like me, are a great cook!

I don't know about being a great cool, but I like my cooking and others seem to also.

It's funny, you cook a pot roast the way most people do, with all the veggies in the same pot. I never do that, my taste buds don't like the way the veggies contaminate the meat. I just like the taste of meat too much to add anything to it. I always cook the veggies separate. I also prefer to roast the veggies in a flat baking dish and always include garlic buds and a sprinkle of OVOO. The EVOO carries the garlic taste throughout the whole veggie dish. I like the veggies this way a lot better than being soggy from sitting in the same pot as the roast.

I cook it both ways...sometimes I use the crock pot and add everything because it's easier when I'm busy. But, most times I cook the meat separately. I usually steam the veggies for an hour or so. It comes out delicious! You sound like me when it comes to cooking...must be a "guy" thing! LOL

Yesterday I had three hamburger patties covered with the left over pot roast gravy, they are wonderful that way. I even put some of the gravy on my green beans, try it some time.

Sounds great! I've tried it that way...and you're SOOOoo right! It's delicious!

Tonight, my wife and I are having fried chicken thighs, turnip greens, and a small baked potato! I would love to make some homemade rolls, but I think we'll settle for bread and butter. 🙂

This evening I'm going to make a stuffed roasted chicken. It will be stuffed with sweet and sour peppers and cannellini beans. I'm probably going to serve it with some broccoli and cauliflower on the side.

So, what time is dinner??? 😉

I am a researcher and writer at Watch Unto Prayer which I started 25 years ago. On this website there are many well-documented articles and audio programs by myself and other researchers whose ministry is to expose the endtime apostasy of the Church. Now more than ever Christians need information in order to identify and avoid the various deceptions that are in nearly all the churches.
My husband and I attended the IFB Bible Baptist Church of James Knox a couple of years ago. We left the church after we were informed by the assistant pastor that we were not allowed to express views to other members that do not agree with the views of the pastor and leaders of the church. We were not introducing heresy but expressing our views concerning the State of Israel. We had never been in a church which forbade private conversations on issues where there are diverse opinions. This we recognized as cultlike control of church members. To inform Christians, my husband, who is also a researcher and writer, started a website on the subject: Zionism Exposed: A Watchman Ministry.

Brother Tony, I read your reply on Anderson, I know you all think I'm argumentative but, when you don't agree.....the first thought I had is, I wish you would introduce me to the guy that hasn't sinned, maybe David, that had a man killed so he could commit adultery, yet, he was & is a man after Gods own heart, or maybe Paul the guy that persecuted and had Christians killed, or maybe Richg or Kent H, or even you ! I used to listen to personalities also when I was younger but today and for some time, my only concern is, does it line up with scripture & to me its hilarious that you think "I'm in a fix" LOL, I interpreted what we've discussed perfectly, not because I'm smart, but because with an open mind to things of God, its an easy read.

Why is it here in 2022 that truth is all of a sudden arrogance ?
