Members Covenanter
Today? Good ol' hotdogs, with our choice of toppings. Mine - hotdog sauce with a bunch of sharp cheddar cheese, mmgood! Remember not to eat the rolls with the hot dogs; burgers are fine without the bun, sandwiches without the bread ... Â As a type 2 diabetic for 14 years, my life was transformed when I cut out all the carbs, & adopted a low carb, high fat, with lots of vegetables diet. Six years ago I was becoming crippled, now I am fit & well with none of the diabetes complications - thank you, Lord Jesus - at 75. Yesterday I mowed the lawns & had 4 sets of tennis - 3 hours play. Â Supper - nut cake - replacing flour with powdered almonds & coconut, & leaving out the sugar. And, of course, tea. Â Breakfast will be nut porridge - leaving out oats - with added cream. Members Invicta
Frankfurters are not my favourite sausage. Â Assuming that you have them in hot dogs. Â In France they have a very similar sausage called Strasbourg sausages, perhaps they should be called Calvin Sausages? Members Invicta
I had a ready meal for once. Â Thai duck with noodles. Â I didn't enjoy it. Â There were too many noodles which I didn't, a little bit of duck which I couldn't taste, quite a bit of grated carrot, and chili. Â Â I won't try it again.
