Members Invicta
I made a slow cooked stew the other day, a beef one for me and a vegetarian one for my wife, I thought the vegetarian one neede more seasoning so I added what I thought was vegetarian stock granules, but unfortunatly I added beef stock instead of vegetable. Although it was only a small amount the taste of the beef stock overpowered it, so I groung enough black pepper into it to mask the taste. It was soemewhat peppery but the next day the taste of pepper was overpowering, so I passed what was left through the blender, added some new vegetables, well chopped, leeks, cauliflower, celeriac, potato, etc, a bit more vegetable stock and it was accepted. I got away with that mistake.
