Members nodnarb
How did I make you laugh? I think you would get bored typing (null) at the end of all your posts.
Members John81
Your "attitude" just makes us laugh and add that null in there and we can hardly control ourselves!
Members SarahStrawberry
Well I don't know that it's that funny but your reply was, John! :-P
Members John81
What can I say, it was bright and sunny early this morning and the songbirds set my mind in motion with traditional gaiety!

Members John81
We have raining heading our way. It would be great to see revival come too! There seems to be somewhat of a revival among our core at church. There seems to be more dedication, more personal pursuit of holiness, seeking the Lord's will, being about the Lord's business. It would be nice to see that spread throughout the church. SarahStrawberry
Members nodnarb
That would be awesome.
Members John81
It seems to have been an odd year at our church. We've added several new members, seen folks come to Christ, but our attendance has been about the same. For some reason several who have attended regularly dropped away. When we factor those who dropped away and those who have come in new, we are breaking about even in attendance. It's been sad to see some families drop away. Most sad is that only one family member really seemed to be saved and into going to church. When they fall away, the family went with them. Most simply say they are tired of the struggle. Very sad. Members SarahStrawberry
That is sad, John! :-( I would love to see revival at my church too! :-) There's has been a kind of revival like you were talking about, John, in the core. But it never hurts to keep getting "hotter"! :-)
Members nodnarb
The service tonight was great. He preached on the things Christ prayed for concerning us.
Members John81
There is nothing like hearing the Word preached! I remember back when I had those major kidney stone problems and missed a few churches services. I read the printouts of the sermon, and they were good, but not the same as actually hearing it preached.
Members nodnarb
If I miss a service I can still hear it because we post them online.
Members John81
That's cool! Our church is looking into the idea of having our sermons video taped so they can be posted online.
Members nodnarb
Still not like being there but at least I can hear it.
Members John81
Our church records sermons on CD. One of the guys who comes to our Wednesday night Bible study sometimes can't make the Sunday services so he picks up a CD and listens to it on the way home from Bible study (he lives about 40 minutes away). It's great that technology allows for many different ways to get the Word out, to get sermons heard and read.
