Members John81
What's cool is the temperature here! Wow, temps took a nosedive overnight. It's not supposed to last but it sure is cold now. It's hard to believe it's Saturday already. Church tomorrow! Also the Sunday school Christmas progam is tomorrow night. Members nodnarb
I haven't been outside yet. I am hoping it isn't to bad out there we have visitation today. I find that its not colder here then back home just a lot more windy and that kills ya.
Members John81
Yeah that wind really makes it many times worse! I can usually take the cold when I'm outside, especially if I'm doing something, but when that wind gets blowing there's not much a person can do to really stay warm. Members nodnarb
Growing up all I ever wore was a hoody or a fleece and I was fine. I hate heavy coats. here I do that and I about freeze to death.
Members John81
I know what you mean! When I was younger my main coat was a blue jean jacket. If it was cold I'd wear a hoody underneath. Even now I don't like heavy coats and unless I'm going to be out when it's really cold, and especially windy, I don't wear one. I really don't like driving wearing a heavy coat and my wife has the heat so high in the car I don't want to wear any heavier of a coat than I have to in there! Members nodnarb
I still don't wear a heavy coat. A lady at my church that has really taken me in since I have been out here is always on me about it to. "You're gonna freeze!"
Members John81
Yeah, I hear that all the time! I only wear a light spring-type jacket or insulated flannel shirt most of the time.

Members SarahStrawberry
I'm with you both. Never was a "big coat" girl. The coat I have now, that I finally broke down and picked out for a birthday gift, is thin, more like a windbreaker/rain coat type?? But it keeps me warm and isn't big and bulky! :-)
Members nodnarb
I don't blame ya. (null)
Members John81
Most women seem to never be able to be bundled up enough! I'm always having some woman wearing a huge polar bear looking coat with hat and gloves telling me I'm freezing her by only wearing a light jacket. She stands there shivering and I'm comfortable! Members nodnarb
Here i shiver. I have like no meat on my body to insulate me.
Members 1John2:15-17
My wife and I just moved to the Cleveland area after 5 years in SW MO. Had to go get new heavier winter coats to be ready for winter. Got rid of our old ones when we moved to SW MO from IL. (null)
