Architects?
Somebody needs to point out to this guy that even 'lower' forms of life like honeybees, birds, beavers and termites build things which are FAR more complex and have much more highly 'advanced' design than a chimpanzee can do.
I watched a nature film which showed a crab grabbing sea anemones and carefully placing them onto it's shell, to protect itself from predators. Another one showed a bird actually sewing leaves together, stitching them with strands from spider webs to make it's nest. Speaking of spider webs; what about the engineering that goes into one? What about the perfect rows of hexagons in a honeycomb? Or the amazing construction of a weaverbird's nest? How does a beaver know how to dam up a stream or build it's lodge?
