I'm going to volunteer at Glides...its a soup kitchen, but they will be serving corn beef and cabbage tomorrow.

Just because it is at a Methodist does not mean that you can not help the needy in your community.... I help with a soup kitchen sometimes. It is at the Presbyterian church..... It is a way to give back to the community, and you can always talk to the people one on one after they leave the kitchen. I have met some very interesting people. Do I believe everything that the Presby's teach... no, but, I like to go and help out. :smile
