Members bibletotingunslinger
Don't wait for your friends to die to start telling them about Jesus, you will feel terrible if you do, I know, I do.... I work with High Voltage every day, we are required to test live circuits in this business. I stopped at the competitors today to pick up some parts for X brand, they were all talking about a funeral, this guy Lynn, who I have known for years does the same thing, only his sweat soaked glove touched a screw driver blade he was using to check for loose parts. I made a conference call............................. I immediately got on the phone with my other competitors and apprentices, I told them all about his death.............................................. ".....................You all better get your Bible, You better know JESUS died on that cross because you are a filthy sinner, and you need to confess you are a sinner and start living the way Jesus wants you to." END CONFERENCE CALL. God knows I am a filthy disgusting piece of flesh, and so do I. Sad a buddy has to die to get me to tell them all. Members John81
Sorry to hear about Lynn. :sad There have been several deaths and accidents around here lately and they do indeed get one to thinking. Whatever the reason, it's always a good thing to get the Gospel out. I'm as guilty as anyone, maybe moreso, in not getting the Gospel out as often and as soon as I should. :sad
Members IM4given
We never know when we leave someone if that is going to be the last time we see them or not. It is very important to tell them about Jesus. I too have been guilty of putting things off. :sad
Members buzzoff1031
Sometimes, as childish as this may sounds for a man of 26 to say, the only thing that helps get me to witness is to think of myself as a "Neo" type person with the Word of God as my weapon and me fighting the "Agents" (Satan and his demons). It comes easy sometiems, but most times it ain't. We just have to remember God wants us to get His Word out. Satan does not. Anytime we don't feel it's "appropriate" Maybe we'll remember gunslinger's story, or someone else closer to us. And realize if these people die without Christ, they will be forever tormented in Hell. You remember those things about which you said, "I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy"? They aren't on the same scale. Hell is far, FAR worse. Members manofconviction
Pray for a vision of family or friends in hell, pray for the boldness to speak, don't let a day go by without tracts in your pocket. Be always ready to give testimony of what Christ has done for you, He promises his word will not return void.
Members Madeline
I live in a city plagued with pornography, prostitution, drug abuse, violence, etc. Me and several of my church friends have our own little ministry for reaching out to the lost in the worst part of our city. There needs to be more men and women out there who are willing to "walk the walk," instead of just "talking the talk." The sad part about it is that our ministry should consist of more volunteers and soldiers of Christ who are willing to get their hands soiled for the Lord. James 4:14 states "For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away." Now is high time to remove the planks from our eyes and begin serving the Lord like a true soldier of Christ. Because if you're not serving the Lord, then you are either serving the lusts of the flesh, the world, or the devil. Love, Madeline
