I was reading an article the other day about how Ron Paul was a liberal, LOL... who knows about these politicians, I like Fred Thompson but he seems really old to me now, I'm afraid the job stress might kill the poor guy. BTW, I see you're a Mac guy, cool... I just bought Leopard today, my daughter's brand new iPod wouldn't work without it.
Members kevinmiller
Oh cool! I can't wait to get Leopard. The ipod should've worked with Tiger though. iTunes may have needed to be upgraded but I can't see why Tiger vs. Leopard would've made that much of a difference. Leopard is not much different than Tiger, just some new cool features.

Guest Guest
I really don't want a Mormon in office but it'd be better than having Hillary Clinton or Giuliani in office.

Members John81
I really don't want a Mormon in office but it'd be better than having Hillary Clinton or Giuliani in office. Not necessarily. All too often when such "Republicans" get elected, they get away with doing far more harm than conservatives and "moderates" would allow a Dem to get away with. I don't know the status of Hillary with regards to salvation, but in my reading up on her I do believe she has a far better understanding of Christianity and salvation than do either Romney or Guliani. Sadly, Hillary seems to have really been into church and being involved as a young Methodist which may have gone well if it were not for the fact a young new pastor came into the church and began preaching "the gospel of social activism"; painting Jesus and the Disciples as social activists and tying contemporary social causes into a "Christian package". This seems to be what led her away from being a Republican (don't forget, she was a Goldwater girl), and into the Democratic Party because of their perceived social activism for the greater good. Imagine the difference in Hillary's life had her church taught the Scriptures as is and presented the One True Gospel.

Members Littlemac
What is the difference between an Mormon for President and any other non believer for President. Thomas Jefferson lied about his beliefs to gain office after first running on the premise of being an honest Deist non KJV.? I have not chosen a candidate but I find the discussion interesting. A devout Mormon = bad, a liar, adulterer, cheater, murderer who claims to be baptist or ordained methodist = good.
Members John81
I'm not sure what all of your post means. A Mormon is not just an "unbeliever", and specifically, the Mormon Romney is not just a Mormon, but one who promotes the Mormon religion, is very much involved in the Mormon religion and one who claims Mormonism equals Christianity. Romney is promoting a false religion and pointing people away from biblical Christianity and true salvation.
